About Snowlog

Snowlog is an app for recording and sharing the change of snow cover by a smartphone camera. Take a photo of snow cover by your smartphone to create fixed point observation of snow cover. Let us share where and what kind of situation cover is now.

First choose a place that you would like to record. Then fix the composition of the photo so that snow cover in full height can be fully captured. In addition, the composition should include fixed markers to align photographs easily across multiple shootings. This is called a "viewfinder."

The viewfinder allows us to take a new photo with the same composition. This is called a "photo." We can take as many photos as possible for a viewfinder, and those images can be used to create time lapse of snow cover during the season.

By uploading images to Snowlog website, they can be shared with other people to collect the real-time status of snow cover across places.

"Memorygraph" Family

Flowerlog is a member of "Memorygraph" and relies on the common infrastructure called Memory platform.

This family includes apps that can record not only for snow cover but also for objects change over time, such as Flowerlog for recording flower blossom.
