About Flowerlog

Flowerlog is an app for recording and sharing the lifetime of flower by a smartphone camera. Take a photo of a flower by your smartphone to create fixed point observation of the flower. Let us share where and what kind of flowers are blooming now.

First choose a flower that you would like to record. Then fix the composition of the photo so that flower in full bloom can be fully captured. In addition, the composition should include fixed markers to align photographs easily across multiple shootings. This is called a "viewfinder."

The viewfinder allows us to take a new photo with the same composition. This is called a "photo." We can take as many photos as possible for a viewfinder, and those images can be used to create time lapse of the lifetime of a flower.

By uploading images to Flowerlog website, they can be shared with other people to collect the real-time status of flowers across places.
